The Next Iteration of Scale For ClimateTech

From all of us at the ForClimateTech team, we are excited to announce the next iteration of Scale For ClimateTech! Through the Scale For ClimateTech (S4C) program, innovators receive dedicated support throughout their manufacturing process in order to gain confidence in their path to market and scale up production to meet demand.
Administered by SecondMuse and NextCorps, with support from NYSERDA, the Scale for ClimateTech program provides immersive training on manufacturing for climate tech hardware innovators, along with a team dedicated to making manufacturing easier — from mentors, experts in the field, and product designers, to manufacturers, suppliers, and investors. S4C aims to scale-up the manufacturing and delivery of innovative climate tech hardware products and solutions to the New York State market in support of New York’s Climate Act goals, and to foster and promote climate tech hardware design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain development in New York State.
With this next iteration, Scale For ClimateTech will expand its services to provide free matchmaking between climate tech innovators at large and New York manufacturing resources. Interested New York based contract manufacturers, suppliers, and other manufacturing expertise can sign up to be considered for the program, and to be matched with their target customers to expand their business opportunities.
Applications to join the 2023-2024 cohort are now open to innovators globally. Completing the application will give innovators the opportunity to join a free, immersive week-long Manufacturing 101 training prior to program selection. Top applicants heading towards commercialization in key climate sectors, including transportation, buildings, grid, and industry, will be invited to take part in the cohort. Throughout the course of the program, participants will receive customized manufacturing resources to scope and execute projects such as prototype advancement, manufacturing capability advancement, pilot demonstration, certification and testing, and facility-building to get their products to market faster.
