Their technology consists of intelligent power outlets (hardware), which run machine learning algorithms both on the edge (onboard each cyber-secured outlet) and also in the cloud (military grade security) to determine what appliances are plugged in, what state they are in (operational vs standby), and can remotely turn power on or off at the single power outlet level, either manually or automatically according to either scheduled rulesets or dynamic machine learning logic.
Their technology delivers real energy savings (and associated carbon reduction) by enabling customers to remotely and automatically turn off appliances wasting plug load power on an outlet-by-outlet basis. They also deliver reports to summarize not just the amount of energy used, but also the amount of energy saved and the amount of carbon reduced. They provide real-time remote visibility to what appliances are actively drawing power and can also identify and mitigate issues with the appliances that are plugged in, which can signal a need for maintenance.
