Katey Metzroth

Katey is a Senior Director at 2M and oversees a portfolio of programs focused on hardware, manufacturing and climate tech innovation out of NYC. These programs range from Futureworks NYC in collaboration with NYCEDC to Scale for Climate Tech and Venture for Climate Tech in collaboration with NYSERDA and NextCorps. She recently served as Interim National Director for GET Cities, a national program funded by Pivotal Ventures, focused on representation of women in tech. She has shaped the SecondMuse approach from research to design to program implementation over the past 7 years. Both community and impact remain her guiding stars in all that she does. She has her MA in Public Policy from Georgetown, served as an Americorps VISTA in North Philadelphia and spent significant time in Buenos Aires and Accra as part of her graduate work looking at efficacy of participatory democracy and elections.
