Venture For ClimateTech Celebrates Second Cohort Successes
The 11 graduating companies from Cohort 2 of Venture For ClimateTech have secured more than $8.8 million in outside funding and generated more than $3 million in revenue. On average, team sizes for cohort two doubled from two employees to four employees.
In celebration of this progress, Venture For ClimateTech has planted two flowering crabapples in St. Joseph’s Park near NextCorps’ office in Rochester, NY in honor of Cohort 1 and Cohort 2. The trees were planted through the Reforest Rochester program and will be maintained and cared for by Rochester’s Forestry Department, ensuring a long and healthy life for many seasons!
