Cellec Technologies
Cellec Technologies is a battery startup developing a lithium balancing approach that increases the safety of cells, and eliminates the need for storing and transporting lithium ion cells at a partial state of charge. After graduating from NEXUS-NY, Cellec founder Chris Schauerman left his position as the director of the RIT battery prototyping center to pursue the company full time. Cellec has secured more than $4M in non-dilutive funding, primarily from the DoD.
